I tried a new trick for drinking my water yesterday that seemed to help!
Every single time I went to the kitchen....I drank a glass of water. If the kids needed a snack...I drank. If I wandered in there thinking I was hungry (when I wasn't) I drank.
I drank 8 glasses of water.
I was down .2 pounds this morning. WOOT! Take that TOM!

ReplyDeleteI bring four bottles to work (which can get expensive, but the work water is nasty). I drink two in the morning and two in the afternoon. I don't do as well when I'm at home because I don't have a schedule like I do at the office. After I drink my two bottles I reward myself with a Diet Coke (which probably defeats the purpose).
ReplyDeleteI'm the same way as Jennifer. I have no problem getting the water in @ work, but home is a whole 'nother story!! Glad you found something to work for you!
ReplyDeleteIt's a great way to keep from snacking. That old adage that you probably aren't hungry, you're thirsty is pretty true.
