I'm sure glad that my official weigh in day isn't until Saturday.
I'm up a couple pounds and feeling gross and I know exactly why.
Last week was a tough week. Hubby working late, TOM and a killer migraine.
I ate a lot of fast food...Qdoba (but without the tortilla), Pizza (but I threw up all day first), Taco Bell and two Danish Pastries from an awesome bakery.
I know that fast food has lots of chemicals and sodium in it. I know it's bad for me. I need to stop eating it.
Who wants to join me in a Fast Food Fast for the month of September?
I'm in! I've planned on Sept. being fast-food free for awhile anyway. :) I was going to do August, but we went on vacation the first two weeks of August and traveling = fast food in the car, so I decided on September. I had my last fast-food meal last night for dinner, I won't be having anything today. My "rule" is that I can have Subway if I want fast food and that's it, no exceptions.
ReplyDeleteGood luck!!
Its time like this that Im glad I live in the land of nowhere because Id have to drive 15-20 miles to get fast food so its not worth it. Easy for me to stay away
ReplyDeleteI think you might be being too hard on yourself. You've been through a ton of changes and there is a lot of stress on you right now. Giving up fast food is a good start though. It will save money, calories, and chemicals.
ReplyDeleteJust remember...the same chemicals in Silly Putty are put in to Chicken McNuggets. ;)
I'm off it for at least the month too. We had our FF fiasco tonight. No bueno my friend.
ReplyDeleteThe girls and I eat ChikFilA once a month and I feel guilty about that. There are so many nights when I am home alone with the girls where I want to get take out, something fast. That's when I realize we should just have cereal for dinner or frozen waffles or tuna sandwiches. I'll join you for September and that's truly a challenge for me!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm in, I have to clean up my diet!!!
ReplyDeleteI'll join in... of course it helps that I'm in P2 of the HCG protocol until late September... lol.

How come you're eating all this fast food now? You were so on the right path and you know that fast food is much more expensive than normal cooking.
ReplyDeleteCome on Connie you can do it, make September a month without fast food.
If you can get in to a habit of preparing meals for at least a week at a time it will be easier for you to kick fast food aside.
ReplyDeleteI found your blog today & look forward to reading all the time.
