Green Coffee Bean Extract...FAIL

I started taking this a week ago.

 I'd seen it on Dr Oz and a friend (who shall remain nameless) blogged about her muffin top disappearing after only 9 days.


It is NOT working for me.

 In fact....I've gained a pound and a half. AND I've been eating (and drinking) less. I'm really starting to worry about my metabolism. I'll give it another week but I don't think I'll be ordering anymore.

Have you ever tried the Green Coffee Bean Extract?  Did it work for you?

  1. Boo! I had read the Zadge's post and wanted to try it after I recover from surgery. Sounds like it doesn't work. :(

    Maybe you should go back to Paleo. It's hard since you like to eat out but you know how well it worked for you! It will get your metabolism revving! - says the woman on a steady diet of painkillers and pudding! ;)

  3. Nope. I tried the Raspberry Ketones and it was a fail as well. Then I just realized, there is a reason the diet industry is booming, because most of us are so desperate to lose weight we will try anything. My mother bought sensa, she gave me a box of it, I didn't felt it helped curb my appetite at all in fact I actually felt hungrier. Dumb.

    I've kind of sworn off things like this. I take cinnamon because I'm PCOS and the sugar thing is a big deal but other than that I've sworn them all. Doing leangains has really changed the way my body has been reacting and I love it. So I'm sticking with it.

  4. Oh, I meant to say yesterday....

    Until Oprah is thin from something Dr. Oz prescribes, I'm not going to buy anything else he recommends. Oprah has money, trainers, resources, etc and is bigger than I am so there is no magic pill, root, tea, etc out there "yet." Because if there was, she would be thin, have her own line of products and a book club selection of the month talking about how she lost it. :)

  5. if pure green coffee beans not help you to lose weight then don't be depress .not necessary that every coffee and diet pills work well. consult physician and with her/his advice use coffee which works best for you to burn calories faster.

  8. I started taking pure green coffee extract almost 3 weeks ago, and also added the rasberry ketones about 2 weeks ago. I haven't changed my diet yet, and I have lost 5 pounds. It has been working for me. I will continue to take them and start an exercise program in the next week or so.

  9. I am taking the 800 mg Green Coffee Bean Extract 2x per day and Raspberry Ketones - 500mg in the morning. I started taking them 1 week ago. I changed nothing in my diet other than lowering the amount of soda I drink. (Didn't want to have too much caffeine in my system). Weight loss in first week: 11 pounds. I'll keep posted if it continues to work or if that was a fluke :)
