Cash And Prizes

”The rewards go to the risk-takers, those who are willing to put their egos on the line and reach out to other people and to a richer, fuller life for themselves.” --Susan RoAne

I've been giving some thought to rewards. I feel like I should give myself one for reaching the 3 month mark and having some results. Of course my first instinct was to take myself to Starbucks and have a coffee and a bar but I quickly reminded myself that we don't reward ourselves with food. *connie rolls her eyes at herself*

  1. What good prizes Connie! I LOVE that Athleta catalog. I carry mine around with me and drool over everything in it! Doesn't it have the cutest clothes??? I think I am going to order one of the swim dresses - they look so cute.

  3. That's a great idea to reward "inches" in addition to pounds. I know I forget all about the inches and get obsessed with the pounds. Thanks for the reminder!

  5. I love it! GREAT rewards for yourself :) That top is so cute! (And it's hard - I would first think to reward myself with food too!)

  6. Sounds like a great idea. :-)

Pedicures always make me feel "pampered" for some reason, and I think a new workout ensemble might motivate me as well. :-)

  9. Such a good idea. I did this sort of thing the last time I had weight to lose. It mostly consisted of new clothes, but it was SO much fun to do when I reached my goals. I need to do that again!
