Week Two: Stress

Keith:

Starting weight: 215
Week One       : 212
Week Two      : 208
LOST:             7 pounds

Connie:

Starting weight: 208.6
Week One      : 207
Week Two     : 207
LOST:              1.6 pounds   


I did really poorly this week.  I ate poorly,  didn't exercise and my weight reflects it. I've discovered that I'm great at packing food for my husband...but I don't follow through with myself.


For me...this is all a result of stress.  Drama that I keep trying to avoid stuck again this week.  I really do need to find a better way to deal.  This is my mission for this upcoming week.  Eating my emotions is hurting me.

How do you deal with your stress?

  1. Have you tried getting one of those Squeezy stress thingy's get one that makes you smile.
    Or ...and I know you have heard this one...get out there and walk instead of eating...just do it.
    (this one is harder than the sqeezy thingy, I don't always find it easy to do.)
    Pack your lunch when you pack your hubbies...and then store it even if your going to be home. then don't eat anything else but your Packed lunch.

  2. I don't deal with stress, I bottle it up. I don't necessarily thing I overeat because of it (I overeat in general) but I do know that I just don't deal with it. I'll usually let it build up and then eventually it all comes out in some kind of drastic fashion, like I'll just up and leave something or completely stop dealing with a person.

    I hope things start getting better for you! You deserve to have a stress free opportunity to take care of yourself!

  3. I tend to bottle it up until it explodes...and I often feed it with food too. But still you lost and that's awesome. Great job Keith - men can lose weight so easily, DARN THEM!
