Eating Out is Hard to Do

Round 2, Day 16....6 Days Remaining

Starting Weight:            194 (+3.4 load weight)
Today's Weight
:            187.6

Yesterday's Weight:     187.8
Released:                        .2 pounds

Week One Released:    2.6 lbs (+3.4 load weight) 6 pounds total
Week Two Released:    3.6 lbs
Week Three Released:   .2 lbs

Yesterday, I weighted exactly the same as Friday which I think is a miracle because I ate out at a restaurant. My mother in law as in Salt Lake City so we went up to have dinner with her and ended up at Chili's. I thought it would be a safe choice since they grill most of their food. I was wrong.

I tried to play it safe by explaining to the waiter that I was on a special diet and ordering the chicken fajita and onions without sides. It was grilled but it appeared to have some kind of coating on it...not oily, but saucy. Oh well. At least I didn't gain.

Bobbi and I went to see a couple movies yesterday. I finally saw New Moon and we saw The Lovely Bones too. Both movies were great and I resisted popcorn. I did have a large handful of Raisinettes and a large Diet Dr. Pepper and still lost .2 pounds. Not too bad for a little bitty cheat.

Today, Calvin and I are going to see Avatar. No Raisinettes for me......

  1. I can't go to Chilis anymore. Yes..they have some kind of a guiltless/skinny menu which I've tried several of their items long ago...meh. My nemesis was the Buffalo Ranch Chicken Sandwich (including the fries is) Cal 1560 Fat 86 Sat Fat 14 Carbs 140 Prot 49 Fiber 9 Sodium 4010.

BTW...their nutrition guide has Potato spelled with an e...hello Mr. Quayle.

  2. Chili's is known for adding lots of sugar, salt, and fat to their food. Some guy wrote a book about it (can't remember his name).

    Yeah for the .2!!

  3. When I go out for dinner which isn't that much I just eat what I want too. Eating out is not cheap and I want to enjoy it then.

I only recently discovered the Twilight Saga so I haven't seen New Moon yet. It's out on DVD in March here and I already pre-ordered it, can't wait to see it.

  4. You go girl! My neighbor and I both started P90X at the beginning of the year. I started by doing the diet that comes with the program and she changed her diet to help with her excema (sp?) ... it was way stricter than my diet. No refined sugar, gluten free, etc.

I got injured right when I was going into week 4. Had to take 2 weeks off and I stopped the diet too. My neighbor stopped the workout program but continued with her diet. She has now lost 14 pounds and looks amazing! On the other hand ... I haven't lost an ounce and am having a hard time starting the P90X program.

    Sigh ...

Keep up the good work!!! You won't be disappointed in the results!!! (I'm totally bummed that I stopped ... totally bummed ....)
